Resilience, determination and persistence are empowered using various themes and props. Lots of creative activities and energetic movement – We jump, skip, hop, twirl, bend, twist, spin, sway, glide, catch, throw, balance, crawl, kick, leap, stomp, run on the spot or tiptoe! Confidence, coordination, cooperation and capability increases. Musical sensitivity, beat and rhythm are refined using percussion instruments, props, creativity with characters, body percussion activities and shared singing. Active- musical-story-telling inherently stimulates imagination and creativity drawing on lyrics, melody, rhythm, shared emotions and ideas. Improvisation, cooperative role play, feelings, voice, tension, focus and self-expression is joyfully explored. Spontaneity, poise, artistic expression, intuition, courage and creation motivates abstract thinking, along with relationships and emotions in themselves and each other.
